Saturday's American Girls Club program filled the children's room with much laughter, dancing and eating. Miss Rose and Miss Andrea taught the girls the spinning, twirling Virginia Reel and how to curtsy—the skills at which American Girl Felicity of 1774 Williamsburg would have been adept. Then they sat down for Twelfth Night cake and punch. To finish, they learned about fan language, an old skill of communicating in a ballroom using a hand fan, and made their own fans to take home. Amercian Girls Club will continue again in January for girls ages 8-12. See you there!
