Saturday's American Girls Club was all about Rebecca, the new American Girl series character from 1914 New York. We played two games based on events and vocabulary from the books. The girls practiced basic sewing stitches because much of Rebecca's time was spent sewing. They also tried hallah, a bread that Rebecca's family makes on Fridays to welcome the Sabbath.
