What a lovely day here at the library! Thanks to the members of all the local organizations who stopped in today to celebrate the good things that have been going at Besore. The Lions, Lionesses, Rotary, and Representative Todd Rock have been dedicated to our growth, helping to do everything from raising money to painting handrails to purchasing our huge new tree reading area. May we always have such great support!

Congratulations National Library Week Contest Winners!
Art is a family affair for some Besore patrons. We're proud to announce that Kara Herrmann, our local first place winner, and her sister, Julia Herrmann, who won second place locally, were both awarded Best in Show ribbons for their National Library Week coloring pages. Preschoolers from around the county competed for this honor, so we're excited to have such talent in our hometown! Congrats also to our local third place winner: Kate Furnish.

Leftover Yarn Needed!
Have any scraps of yarn cluttering up your craft basket? We'd love to have them! Our adult Knit n' Chat group is going to start making hats for newborns, and would love your leftover yarn. Any color, style or amount is appreciated. We'd love to make some treasure from your trash! Just drop it at the front desk at the library.Sound like fun? We meet the first and third Monday of every month. Join us for our next meeting on Monday, May 18 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Feel free to bring your own knitting, crocheting or needlework project.
