Teen Board and Service Group (LIGHT)

LIGHT otherwise known as Lilian's Interactive Group of Helpful Teens, meets each Tuesday at 3:00 pm when school is in session. This is a group for teens 13-18 years of age, who would like to volunteer their time or need to fulfill 30 hours of community service for their school requirement. A teen involved in this group will help to plan and lead programs and events, advise the library about services for teens by attending the weekly meetings, help out around the library with a variety of tasks, shelving/book labeling/yard work. The teens may also be asked to suggest books, magazines, movies for the library. The first meeting of LIGHT for the 2011-2012 school year will be September 13.
